My Transformation Story

Back in 2008, I finished my Diploma in Mechatronics from the Indo-Swiss Training Center. ?? This is claimed to be one of the best institutes in the country, with the hope of landing a good job. The world’s reality is that it strikes you when you are ready. ?? I landed a job with a big company close to Delhi with a good salary. ?? I realized I had a big problem because the company had no learning and growth. ?? I wouldn’t say I liked even 3 months and quit the job that many of my friends would crave to have. ? Do you know why?

Because if you are not learning and growing in any area of your life, you feel dead inside. ???? - Tony Robbins!

I returned to my hometown and found a job as a Field PLC programmer with a salary of 50€ per month. ?? With this salary, you can’t even buy dinner today, but my spirits were high, and I could see a promising future. ??

After a year of working on several projects, travelling the neighborhood to program PLCs, Drives and HMI, I realized I should do a bachelor's if I wanted to make a big jump in my career. ?? With my year of experience, I started Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation close to my hometown. ?? The horror began when I entered the class and realized that teaching was a big joke to most teachers. ?? We were taught industrial concepts by teachers who had never worked in the industry or touched any controller. ??♂? The books were shoved in our faces. I got so frustrated because I knew this was not right! ??

What do you do when something is not right? You take ACTION!!! A BIG ACTION! ??

I reported the teachers to the Head of the department, but guess what? Nothing happened. ?? I did not want my friends and me to be taught something so valuable that the teachers would not take it seriously. So, I told one of my teachers that I would like to take the opportunity to create some lessons on PLC and PID and give seminars. ??

I have never done that before, but I have done it more than 100 times in my mind. ?? - Tony Robbins!

Every night, I go to bed, close my eyes, and visualize myself doing things that I yet have to do. This is called ?Power of Visualization‘ ..if you want to build confidence for doing something you do for the first time, you do it in your mind and visualize it happening. ?? Visualize how you are talking, how you are asking questions, how you communicate, and how you deliver your ideas and story. And it works like magic! ? I realized I had a breakthrough. So, at my first seminar, I got a standing ovation! ?? I could not believe that I had learned a skill with no experience. I empowered those skills and continued doing seminars on topics like PLC, HMI, and Servo drives, which I learned in my last year on the job. ??

I thought I had enough material in just one year. How about taking ANOTHER BIG ACTION? ?? Why did I do that? My motivation and enthusiasm were on fire because my BIG action brought a big result! ?? I wanted to reach a bigger audience, So I met some investors, and we started a training academy in the town where only a few PLC training academies were present. ??

I attend my classes in the morning, and in the evening, I sit at my computer, write, and record my courses. ??? After 3 months of hard work, we opened the academy in August 2010. ??

There comes another PROBLEM! For the next 3 months, there were no students in the academy! ??

BECAUSE nobody knew us, we were new in the market; they did not know how we function! They did not know that they should learn these tools. In the colleges and training academy, they never taught beyond 8051 controllers. ?? The industries had all the automatic machines with PLCs, Control Systems, and HMI, but colleges and universities lacked such equipment. Our training academy was full of equipment like PLC, HMI, Servos, and, for sure, Tony Robbins's photo with quotes that I made myself, haha. ???

Then I started giving seminars for FREE - Why would I do that? ?? I wanted to offer a competitive advantage compared to my competitors. I tried to make the students aware of what they could learn and become automation engineers. ??? I watched tons of webinars and the best authors and read books about how to give seminars to large audiences with 100% congruency. ?? I knew my product, had 200% belief in my energies, and wanted to help people. ??

If you know 'WHY you want to do it?', the 'HOW' will fall into place. ?? - Tony Robbins!

I got a couple of industrial clients who were interested in seminars. I used to drive the tiniest car to deliver my seminar. ?? I had one PLC panel and one pneumatic robotic arm to show the LIVE demo on PLC and Electro-pneumatics. ?? It worked so well; they loved the demo, and we alerted them to get industrial clients for the training.

Seeing all these efforts, students are joining us, and things are going well. ?? In the next few months, something unbelievable happened! All my college friends I helped at university signed up for the PLC training for 2 and 6 months. ?? I could not feel much better.

Things went well for a while, but another DRAGON in the story comes! ?? To get more students, I had to convince the college training managers that I could add value to their students. They knew I could add value, but I did not know they function differently. They all were corrupted and allowed only those training academies that gave them some monetary benefits or commissions. ?? I was not used to such an act and found it completely WRONG! ? I never wanted to join this journey of corruption. What would I do? I took significant ACTION. ??

If something does not work- Change your approach! And then take another BIG action! ???? and then keep changing approach until you find what finally works - Tony Robbins!

Because I was watching Tony on YouTube, I realized let‘s go digital. ?? I recorded a CD with 18 videos on PLC back in 2010 and also uploaded that to YouTube. ?? My investor did not believe in me because it was a new IDEA, but I visualized it already working (Power of visualization) ??

In 6 months, BOOM!!! now the whole world knows me. ?? New startups started inviting me to host their courses on their platform., I started with Udemy and then gradually opened my online academy. ??? When you know the right approach, then the sky is the limit! ?? Revenue is rising up, and we are sustained in this ugly Indian market of College training. ??

After 5 years, I was saturated, fed up with our education system, and wanted personal growth and exposure. ?? So, I took another BIG Action. I moved to Germany in 2015. I could pay all my expenses from my online sales, pay my university fees, and even start to fulfill my dreams. ?? I could help my family, take them on traveling, and offer them one of my best experiences. ???? In Germany, I got to work with one of the best players in the Automation market. Now, I have more than 115k students in my school from all around the world. ?????????? More than 150k subscribers on YouTube with more than 10 million views. ??????

When I started with Online teaching, I was filled with one passion - ?Helping others. Because life is not just about ourselves but also about giving to others. ?? The people in my country who looked up to me wanted to get more from me. So, I started a YouTube channel where I teach for free to spread education to that audience that could not afford my courses. ????

If I could sum up where all my passion comes from, I would love to credit Tony Robbins or some of you might know him from Anthony Robbins. ??

When I listened to him in my car while driving to college or a client to deliver a seminar, ???? I told myself, “One day, I want to see him LIVE. I want to feel him LIVE.” ????

?? This dream came true on 21st June 2024 when I was at Lanxess Arena in Cologne (Germany) and attended his 4-hours workshop! This workshop was one of the best experiences of my life, and I will use it for the rest of my life. ??
