B: My reading snapshot of the year.

(You have to note that I also run a research company, hence, statistics and analysis :)

A Snapshot of My 2024 Reading Journey

* Total Books Read: 61

* ABANDONED books: 7

* Genre Distribution:

* Fiction: 20%

* Business: 25%

* Personal Development: 30%

* Children’s Literature: 10%

* History & Geography: 10%

* Other Genres: 5%

C: Who is my Reading Fuel?

  • BOOKIEZ, a weekly book discussion club I am a part of. Ping me if you want to join. Every Saturday 9-10AM, Indian Time.
  • The Dorai Todla Memorial one-book-a-month discussion forum.
  • The Ascent Book club where folks talk about books that inspire them.

(And my personal library of over 1500 books. My house is strewn with books, much to the displeasure of the wife!).

D: This is what I do to read more:

  • I start the day with reading. Something. Anything. There's always a book within arms reach in all my rooms!
  • START. Pick a small book. My Book club mate Prabhu read 100 books in 100 days. Write to me if you want his list.
  • Diversify Your Genres: Mix and match.
  • Active reading. I take Notes. Work on them. Share.
  • Re-read. When I go back to a book, I am not the same. Nor is the book! It talks differently and seems to address the problem I am currently grappling with.

E: A question for you.

What were your top-rated books this year?

Share your favourites and let’s inspire each other to continue our journeys of learning and growth!

PICK A BOOK TODAY. READ IT.

i am always inspired when I see you talking about reading, Pravin. I think that everyone has a *light* in some sense…something that transports them psychically and makes them feel grand. It’s your light.
