Do you run your own business? Have you realised that you need a ton of software, hardware, apps, tools plus lots of time to get everything done?
Has a lead ever slipped through the net? Ever had an unhappy client?
8 years ago I was just starting my business as a Photographer. Over the years I've tried and tested lots of products & tools to help me run my business even more professionally and efficiently.
Here is a quick run down of my Top 6 Tools for Business Owners and why I love them.
Tave is my favourite tool ever. It combines workflows, finances, invoices, orders, quotes, lead tracking, meetings, schedules and automations to make your business run smoothly.
There is so much involved in Tave that I could write an entire book on it! Lets just say, that if you want somewhere to keep your contacts, clients, leads, financials, contracts, calendar and much more, then Tave is what you need.
2. MadMimi
A fully functioning and easy to use email service with the best customer service I have ever received from any company. Ever. Simple to set up, beautiful emails and of course you can track your emails to see who read them and who clicked on which links inside them. Perfect.
3. Amazon
Yep, I put Amazon in here. Amazon is really amazing and no doubt you’ve bought a ton of things from there yourself. Well, did you know that you can get paid to partner with them? In a few steps you can create an affiliate account (like I have) and each time someone clicks on one of your links and buys something (even if it’s not the actual product you linked to) you earn money!
The main reason I love Amazon though is for Amazon Prime. Next Day delivery, I love you. It’s got me out of a few sticky situations in the past!
If you’re not a member of BizMums yet, you should be! A fantastic network absolutely full of amazing and incredible people in business that are there and ready to help you out whenever you need advice!
Michelle Childs, who owns & runs BizMums with her team of meeting hosts is a superstar. She’s friendly, knows what’s she’s talking about and her aim is to help business owners like you and me succeed. Now that’s someone you want to be around.
This is my favourite online app for creating social media posts and title images for blog posts. It’s quick, easy and never fails. I’ve tried others like Canva etc but in my opinion, Get Stencil is miles better!
It's simple to use, tons of free images, quotes & templates included and you can upgrade to a paid membership if you need to. They are always adding new things to it too, so it grows with your business.
Adobe has so many products under it’s belt that there is bound to be something for you. There are mobile apps, desktop apps & software, inspiration, tutorials and so much more.
Are you looking for stock photos for your website, email, & blog posts? Check out Adobe Stock. Do you want to make mini videos of your services or products? Grab Premiere Pro. If you need to design leaflets from scratch, try Photoshop, or Indesign.
BONUS TOOL: If Adobe seems a little too complicated for you, have a look at Animoto for videos & slideshow. Simple, fast and beautiful! I love them! Check out this video I made with Animoto recently.
Try them out and in no time you’ll have a streamlined, successful business with tools that make your life easier! Which of course mean you’ll have more time to focus on what you love doing!
I really love using all of these tools for my business so a couple of them are affiliate / referral links!
Let me know which tools you use for your business in the comments!
