OPINIONS WANTED: WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR?
I’m currently preparing my talk for Ennea Capital Partners Fundraising Masterclass: The intangible difference: What makes a successful entrepreneur?
While structuring an estimated billion of ideas, articles, and real life success stories on this topic - I was wondering: What do YOU think?
As there are so many entrepreneurs and executives among my dear readers - why not include the wisdom of the crowd. Please send me your opinion on what makes an entrepreneur successful to [email protected]
I would love to share your takes in my masterclass and of course in my next newsletter (anonymously, if you prefer).
WHAT DOES THE FUTURE OF WORK LOOK LIKE FOR DESKLESS WORKERS?
Deskless workers
Restaurants with restricted opening hours, hospitals on the edge or baggage lost at airports have already been giving us a preview on how the shortage of labor, especially deskless workers, impacts our daily lives.
I recently came across this Boston Consulting Group study which found out that ?the primary reason that deskless workers look for a new job (…) is not because of unsatisfactory compensation but because their emotional needs are not being met.“
Addressing this emotional level is key to keeping deskless workers on board.
At the top of that list - things you can’t cover via compensation:
Short: The future of work for deskless employees is a direct representation of a company’s intangible capital.

HOW TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN COMPANY CULTURE?
Insights from Holly Branson , Chief Purpose and Vision Officer at Virgin
领英推荐
?I was thrilled to write about company culture (…), as it is one of the most important assets a business has. It’s one thing to build a strong and people-first culture, but it’s a whole other ball game to sustain one.“
1 Look after your people and make sure you’re hiring the right fit: At Virgin, we look for optimists
2 Walk the walk and talk the talk when it comes to creating a workplace that is 100% human focussed: Flexible work arrangements and celebrate diversity
3 Create a culture based of trust, belonging and transparency: Mental health
4 Nurture healthy relationships: Culture comes from people connecting with one another and forming healthy relationships, just as with family and friends
5 Define and live your purpose and values: They should underpin everything you do so if they are healthy, well communicated and prioritised, everything will flow from there
