My Top 3 Productivity Boosters

Have you ever sat on your desk and can't get anything done? Well, that's almost normal to everyone. Don't get stuck there are ways you can breakdown the wall and get moving.

  1. Listen to your favorite songs (For me, The Piano Guys do the trick. Most of my favorite music is just instrumentals so I find it easy to enjoy the background music and get my work going without the vocals being a distraction)
  2. Change of Scenery: You really don't need to travel to do this. You can leave your enclosed cube space or office and work from your office break space or another space that is not your everyday routine space. Of recent times, I have found myself to get most of my school assignments and work done from a coffee shop. Sometimes I have had to rearrange my sitting space just to get a slight change to break away from the everyday outlook.
  3. Take a minute: Sometimes your brain will shut down and you can't key-in a keystroke, your thoughts stop flowing. Well, take a walk to the rooftop (if you can access one) and enjoy the scenery, just don't take too much time of your work time doing that.
  4. Take short breaks in between tasks: You have been working those reports for three hrs and you are not at the second one yet! Give your brain a break. Take short breaks between your to-do list and use them to have your brain relax and do something different before embarking back on your day tasks.

Don't get stuck.......Keep moving!
