My Top 10 Documentaries on Lynda.com and Linkedin Learning

Over the last few months, I've heard a few people be blown away by the fact that we have documentaries on Lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning. They're created by a small stellar team out in Carpinteria, CA.
These documentaries are stunning. They're meant to inspire and give you a unique perspective of professionals out in the field as well as an inside look at how they approach their craft.
If you haven't had a chance to dive in, today is your lucky day. It's time to get inspired and jump into your next project with enthusiasm and passion. Here are my top 10 documentaries.
1. Jeffrey Zeldman: 20 years of Web Design and Community

Pop Chart Lab turns complex data sets into stylish infographics, from taxonomies of hip-hop to field guides of famous felines. This is information design in its purest form. This always gives me inspiration when designing workflow maps.
4. Maria Giudice: Design Leadership in Business

6. Adonna Khare Large Scale Art
Artist and teacher Adonna Khare shares how she went from nearly abandoning her art to competing in ArtPrize 2012. So talented while being so humble. I'm mesmerized by Adonna's pencil work.
7. The Motionographer Story
Hear the story behind Motionographer, the online community for motion graphics artists, animators, and filmmakers around the world, and its founder Justin Cone, in this short inspirational documentary. This inspires me to learn more about motion design and is a source of inspiration.
8. Bonnie Siegler: Designing Her Design Career
Bonnie Siegler, founder of respected design firms No. 17 and Eight and a Half, reflects on her career and explains the skill set that makes a breakout designer successful. I started my career by getting my BFA in Graphic Design at SCAD. This movie takes me to my roots and reminds me of how much my heart expands when I experience typography, color, layout, and balance. This is my moment of zen.
9. Rayce Bird: Real Life Creature Creation - Film
Rayce Bird, a special effects makeup artist, reveals the process behind his "monstrous" latex masks and walks through a demo for fans at Comic-Con. I love his attention to detail and how he brings these characters to life. Watch the Full Movie on Lynda.com
10. Jason Seiler: Digital and Traditional Painter
With his work in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Time, the New Yorker, and more, Jason talks about his influences and career path in this short film. I love Jason's confidence in putting himself out there. He's inspired me to take risks and try new things.
