Is my time as valuable as the person who provides the business service?

Time is invaluable.?In fact, time is more valuable than money.?Time is very valuable partly for the reason that we are all only allotted a certain amount of time in our lives, and so we need to make sure that we use it wisely.?Nothing can stop the flow of time. Time once past cannot be brought back by any means.

Courtesy:?Being on time, and being aware of what time it is, ensures that we will not turn up late for our appointments. This is very important if we want to treat other people with politeness and respect. Their time is valuable, just like ours is, and we should not cause them to waste it.

Phone on hold? When you call a company for help or support and you get the recording that goes something like this: “We’re sorry.?Due to unexpected call volume you may experience longer than normal wait times.” Even when it comes to customer service, customers turn to an alternative business rather than having to make a call and be put on hold, be transferred to numerous people and have to repeat their story to multiple employees.

The successful business, knows that being kept on hold for more than a few minutes is a prime cause of losing a customer. Advise the customer that they can choose to contacted back automatically within a particular time frame. Result - happy customer.

Like money, you can waste time or save it. Unlike money, you can’t get the time back you’ve spent. So choose to spend it wisely and not all in one place.

Disrespect my time at your peril. The one thing I will never tolerate is when someone disrespects my time. It’s not that my time is more valuable than anyone else’s; I wholeheartedly believe everyone should value their own time above anything else. If you stop and think about it, our time is the only nonrenewable resource we have. We can make more money, we can gain new skills, we can even learn to love someone new.

Punctuality and Timeliness:?A person who understands the value of time practices?punctuality in life. A punctual person, who uses his time cautiously, becomes successful in life. If we look around we will?see that successful people?in all spheres of life made proper use of every moment of their time. The most prosperous nations to are those that do not waste any moment. If you have made a specific appointment time it is paramount that it be kept. This applies to both parties. Nothing is more infuriating than making a Hospital appointment and then being kept waiting for 3 hours - unfortunately, this has become the norm. My instruction to Sales Staff has always to be 30 minutes early for their first appointment every morning - the day would then progress with happy customers.
