My Three Freedom Summer Documentary Shorts

On this day in 1964, James Chaney, Michael Schwerner and Andrew Goodman, were killed. In 2014, American Experience allowed me and my crack team of Documentary Ninjas to make 3 shorts. These and other web shorts were made to support the broadcast of Stanley Nelson's amazing Freedom Summer Documentary. Rosco Jones was Schwerner's lieutenant, old friends with Chaney & met Goodman the night before he died. He was almost in the car with them.

Herbert Randall has a home on a reservation in the Hamptons and has become something of a mentor to me. He is the real deal.
