My Three Favourite Features in Zoho CRM

My Three Favourite Features in Zoho CRM

This week, I’d like to share three Zoho CRM features that have helped my clients streamline their processes and boost efficiency.

1. Blueprints

What is it?

A Blueprint helps you standardise and streamline processes in Zoho CRM.

Why I like it

It ensures every step in the sales process is followed—no more missing follow-ups or forgetting key reporting data.

Examples:

  • A lead management Blueprint to standardise follow-up sequences.
  • A deal management Blueprint to structure quote creation and manage SLA response times.

2. Workflow Rules

What is it?

Workflow Rules automate actions based on triggers you define.

Why I like it

They save time and keep processes consistent, reducing manual effort and potential errors.

Examples

  • When a deal is marked “Closed Won,” the status of the company and contact is automatically updated from “Prospect” to “Client.”
  • Classify new leads as cold, warm, or hot based on their source or other criteria.

3. Canvas

What is it?

Canvas allows you to create a customised CRM interface for specific roles or teams.

Why I like it

With Canvas, designs meet functionality. I’m not particularly picky about colour schemes, but showing only the data a particular team needs boosts user adoption and simplifies workflows.

Examples

  • A tailored view for the sales team with quick access to vital data for efficient communication.
  • A streamlined interface for sales managers, highlighting performance metrics with minimal clutter.

I’d love to hear about your favourite Zoho CRM features—feel free to share them in the comments!
