My thoughts on how do we ensure OpenAI chatGPT reaches a mass audience at a low cost?

I haven't been able to get rid of ChatGPT from my mind for the last few days, though there are endless opportunities to use ChatGPT. I was thinking about how this technology can be made accessible to a larger population at a lower cost and avoid any one company monopolizing this technology or building privacy into an ad-supported business model. Below are my quick thoughts,

?A public platform can be built using ChatGPT with the below capabilities

  1. Public Platform with Micro-communities: Ability to create micro-communities on the public platform based on specific topics of interest. By subscribing to these communities, users can connect with others who share their interests and engage in discussions about the topic at hand. ChatGPT can also be part of the community, and it can be used to provide insights and answers to questions within the community, helping to facilitate more informed and engaging conversations.
  2. Wider reach with low cost per query: By using a public platform and micro-communities, we can maximize the reach of ChatGPT's responses and potentially reduce the cost per query. This could be a valuable strategy, as by allowing members of a community to access and share ChatGPT's responses, the cost can be distributed among a larger group of users, making it more accessible and cost-effective."
  3. ChatGPT Involvement in Micro-Communities: The ability of ChatGPT to participate in discussions and provide responses. This feature can be configured within each community, allowing users to decide whether they want ChatGPT to be an active participant in the conversation or not.
  4. Communities with Free/Subscription model: These micro-communities on this platform can be run on a free/subscription-based model. making the platform more flexible and accessible.
  5. Education/Research Institutions Communities: Education/schools/research institutes can have their own communities, which can be funded by governments or sponsors. So that schools/education institutions can use ChatGPT free of cost.
  6. Save Responses with validity: The ability to save the responses along with timestamps and a time limit for their validity. This would allow community users to access and refer to the responses they receive from ChatGPT over time, while also ensuring that the responses are kept up-to-date by setting an expiration date. This could be particularly useful for responses to certain topics that may evolve or change over time.
  7. Sharable Link: Ability to share the responses with others (Sharable Link)
  8. Labels/HashTags to Organize Responses: The ability to add labels or hashtags to the responses they receive. This would allow users to organize and categorize their responses, It could also help other users find relevant responses on a particular topic by searching for specific labels or hashtags.
  9. Near Real-time Responses and address social media misinformation: Currently, ChatGPT seems to have been trained with the data until 2021. So, the ability to provide near real-time responses could make it more efficient than traditional search engines. This could be particularly useful for applications in the social media space, where misinformation is a common problem., ChatGPT could help to combat misinformation and improve the quality of information on social media platforms,

These are my quick thoughts, Please feel free to share your ideas and comments.
