My Take On Successful Leadership

I have the privilege, like many of you, to spend time with leaders in business, academia, politics, and society. While exchanging with and listening to them, I love to observe their personality.?
Some of them are truly inspiring. Sometimes there is also learning how not to do it.?
When I summarize my takeaways and learnings, what are the main ingredients or factors for successful leadership? What inspires my leadership behavior the most??
Here is my take on it:
What do I mean by it?
#stayhungry: curious, open-minded, pioneering, question the (your own) status quo, leave the beaten path, love challenges, courageous, focused, purpose-driven, tackle the grand challenges of humanity.
#stayauthentic: real, stick to yourself, a person of integrity, credible, value-centered (in all weather conditions), walk the talk.
#stayhumble: grounded, down-to-earth, totally normal, unpretentious, having the strength to consciously take yourself back to serve others, approachable, confident and relaxed, generous.
I know the list is not complete. It's more about what is on my mind and heart.
When I look at my own life, some of these success factors seem more naturally available, e.g., staying hungry and curious is part of my DNA, and it is easy to catch up when I feel the fire. Whereas staying humble is way more of a good challenge and everyday learning.?

8 个月Inspiring leaders are a rare species. And perhaps to add to my observation of what inspires me most about leaders: Attitude, ability to execute, and fairness combined with backbone.
