My Take On Justin Bieber

As you all have seen these days in the music business, more and more musicians are selling their music these days in order to make money while they are not performing, and I was surprised to hear that Justin Bieber sold his music library to some company for an undisclosed amount of money. Maybe the musician is trying to cash in on some money since he hasn't made any more music and has not toured in years, maybe this was the time for him to cash in.

Of course, he isn't the only one doing this. A lot of musicians are thinking long term when it comes to making money in the music business. They are selling not just music but also putting some patent or patenting their songs so they can make money off the royalties and publishing rights because as musicians get older, they are finding out that going on these tours can take its toll on them physically and mentally.

Now getting back to Justin Bieber, it will be interesting to see if he will make some more music and to go on some tours promoting his music. I am not sure since this is his decision to make. But I will say though that him selling his music to some publishing house makes him one of the youngest musicians to do that and it will be a long term investment he makes in order to provide some sort of financial peace of mind in finding out his money is going in the right place.
