My Take on AI's Future: What 2024 Holds in Store.

This week's edition of Digital Marketing Disrupted is filled with my predictions for 2024, tools that can change your content translations, and the latest articles from my blog.

Enjoy.

My AI predictions for 2024.

As we are approaching 2024 it's time to make some predictions. Let's check back at the end of the year to see if these insights hold.

ChatGPT drop.

In recent weeks I have observed 2 phenomena. The growth of hundreds of AI tools and the decrease in the quality of generated content.

The more tools pop up each day, the lower the quality output they generate. This is mostly due to the training of these tools. The majority of AI tools have to work with the right data and get proper training to create high-quality results.

The same is valid for our beloved ChatGPT. :)

A few days ago OpenAI the owner of ChatGPT, halted the PRO subscriptions for the new users due to quality issues. There are also discussions that the ChatGPT is getting “lazy”.

This was first brought up in a discussion on Reddit and later confirmed by OpenAI.

In my opinion, in the upcoming weeks, we will see a shift from OpenAI.

With Google releasing its Gemini model a few days back, it might be possible that the users will leave ChatGPT and turn to Google Bard.

Also, I am waiting for other big players like Microsoft and some improvements in their Bing chatbot.

2. ChatGPT will be used by AI geeks only.

In the last developer days, OpenAI announced the creation of their GPT store similar to Apple's App Store.

Users will be able to generate their own GPT bots and sell them further.

I have tested this option some time ago and have to say, I don’t think it will be such a huge boom than expected.

Why?

Because it's complicated for regular users.

I wanted to create an easy chatbot for my website. And as I am not familiar with coding I had to get some knowledge and also search for help.

Meanwhile, I was waiting for the results, new chatbot tool appeared on the market.

As it had everything I wanted for a reasonable price I decided to go with the ready-made tool. Thus leaving the ChatGPT.

So as the title of this section states above, I predict that ChatGPT and its app store will be used more by AI geeks rather than regular users.

It will become a playground for AI enthusiasts and coders to test and develop thousands of tools.

3. Boom in AI training in the corporate world.

The last prediction comes from my observation of 2 worlds, AI and corporations.

Recently I have heard that some corporations encourage employees to use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.

And you know what comes with this? As with any new tool or a change in the work environment employees are freaking out.

The early adopters who jumped on the AI trend are safe in my opinion.

For those who are resilient towards the change, there is only one solution.

An AI training. :)

As a former trainer, I predict that in the upcoming months, we will see more and more AI training in corporations.

Starting with an understanding of AI, basic prompt creation to advanced data analytics.

And what is your take on this? Do you think your company will need an AI training?

Leave me a comment below so we can discuss it.
