My Story

My story begins in Shanghai, China, where I grew up in a household immersed in music, ballroom dancing, and fashion. As a child, I was captivated by black and white photographs of Hollywood stars, from which I drew a sense of ethereal feminine elegance. My mother, with her adept skills in embroidery and sewing, recreated Hollywood-style pointed bras that were not only bold and exaggerated but also beautifully highlighted the artistry of the female form. This pursuit of beauty planted the seeds of art and fashion in my heart.

Consequently, I chose to specialize in "Dyeing and Weaving" with a focus on fashion design at the art college. My artistic journey spanned from traditional Chinese art to Japanese digital art, and ultimately to the United States, where I have been dedicated to art education for nearly 15 years. During this time, my students have won numerous awards, including Best of Show and first place in the 2010 National Duck Stamp Design Contest, as well as first place in the 2009 NASA digital art painting category.

My decades-long career and research in art have been filled with an exploration of unique artistic forms, a passion for bold, minimalist, and vibrant color design, and a pursuit of depth in painting's emotional resonance. I am committed to conveying messages and celebrating the inner and outer beauty of aesthetic femininity through the visual language of art. In my creations, I enthusiastically combine various textured materials with traditional painting skills to capture and frame the essence of feminine mystique, elegance, and allure.
