1.??Who is Edwin Francis Memirieki?
I am Maasai boy born in the Northern highlands of Tanzania in Arusha region at Lesiraa Village in 1993. I started looking after calves, goats and sheep when I was four years old until I turned 9 years old in 2002 when I started my primary level education at Lesiraa primary school which was about 7 kilometers from home. It wasn’t easy for me to join the school because I was somehow rejected by teachers since I didn’t attend nursery school and I was a bit older than the required age range to join primary education which 7 years old by then. I was just a Maasai boy from the bush to school who was only fluent in Maasai language and poor in speaking Swahili.?In 2008 I finished primary school; thereafter in 2009 I joined Moringe Sokoine Secondary school for ordinary level education where I finished in 2012. My form four national examination results were very nice which opened the doors for me to join Ilboru High School, one of the best and special schools in Tanzina for advanced level education where I did Physics, Maths and Chemistry (PCM). I finished there in 2015 and in the same year I joined University of Dar es salaam where I pursued Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Chemistry and graduated at this prestigious University in 2018 with strong academic backgrounds. Apart from being a professional chemist, I am also a talented and passionate author where I write books and most educative, entertaining, enticing articles and stories especially about personal development topics.
2.??When did I start writing? Is it part of my hobby?
Since I was in primary school I liked reading stories and storytelling. I was very curious to dive deep to the moral or life lessons behind every story I read. This culture became my hobby and interest, and I when I was in secondary school I started writing my life stories in my diaries. I used to write about events and other activities that I used to do like school trips, visitations, and many others. It’s when I was in a high school student in 2014 at Ilboru High School when I realized that writing is more than a hobby to me, that it is my gift and talent from God. It is a key to unlock my impact in life and touch the lives of others through writing.
In 2015 I started officially my writing journey where I started researching in details on the topic, “How to turn your dreams into reality”. The same principles that I found as the secrets of many dream achievers have helped me to publish my first book in 2018 which is entitled, “Ijue na Kuiishi Ndoto Yako” in Swahili version and later translated into English language and entitled, “Unlock and Live Your Dreams”. As a budding author those years in the industry, there were so many up and downs on my way especially when it comes to marketing and sales. But I kept the spirit up and became unstoppable on my way as enthusiastic author who had a dream to publish internationally. My relentless spirit has turned my dream into reality this year when I managed to publish my second book entitled, “The Unforgettable Name” in Amazon. This is the book that I have researched about the subject and writing for a period of four years. ?
3.??How many books have I written so far? Do I plan to write more?
So far I have written two books, the mentioned above. They are life-changing and transformative books which are doing quite well in the market nationally and internationally. My dream is to write more books as I can, in few words what I can say is the best books are yet to come.
4.??What is my target audience?
I write personal development books therefore anyone with a dream to achieve, a purpose to live and a destiny to reach can read my books. But most often as an author and public speaker I like to do some mentorship and training programs to my fellow youths under the umbrella of our initiative called, “Youth Inspirational Forum” and cooperate training with other stakeholders.
5.??What inspired me to write this book? Why writing the book entitled “The Unforgettable Name?”
·????????What inspired me?

The visit to my former Ilboru high school in 2016 became a turning point to write this book. It’s when I found the phrase I wrote a few years back on my dormitory’s ceiling board that read, “Don’t forget Edwin FM 2013-2015”. Upon reflecting on this phrase, I found that I didn’t do anything very unique to remain as my legacy for the school and be unforgettable. But those words paved a way in my life, to live a life that matters wherever I am to create a positive impact. Since 2016, the idea to write this book, “THE UNFORGETTABLE NAME (The Call to Awaken the Spirit of Legacy)” has been popping in my mind.?
·????????Why writing the book entitled “The unforgettable Name”.
The same question I asked myself when I saw the phrase on my domitorys’ ceiling board has been repetitively popping in my mind especially when I walked around the walls of streets and bridges in the cities and saw the same quotes and words that read like, “Don’t forget….”, “The Legend”, “Hero” and so on. I believe that each one at some point of time and area of space has written his/her name somewhere or you have come across the streets what I have been observing. But, I become so curious about the reasons behind this when I see at churches, hospitals and at schools the benches and other things marked, “Donated by…” Not only that when I hear the streets, roads and bridges named after someone’s’ name the same question pops in my mind.
It’s at the end of 2016 when I have come to realize that the reason behind that is the?“Spirit of legacy” from within us.?It’s nature for every living human being to have a sense of desire to leave a mark behind, to be remembered for having done something worth, and be remarkable even when we are no longer around. We are all destined to leave a legacy. It is our spiritual need and inborn desire to leave a mark behind, to be remembered, and to have a sense of meaning, purpose, and impact. Upon realizing this nugget of wisdom I delved intensively about the topic legacy for four years and the journey became successful when I published this book.?“The Unforgettable Name” is a call to action and a life legacy challenge to each and every one of us, that to live a life that matters, impacting the lives of others and leave a powerful legacy behind. The book stands on my philosophical perspective that we are born, “Unknown to die unforgettable”. In this book I have shared the so I found and call?“The Seeds of Legacy”, the secrets of living a life that matters to the fullest and creates a powerful legacy by making the world around you a better place than you found it.
6.??Do I think writing is a paying job? If yes, how? And if no how?
·????????To me I think writing is a paying job especially when we are highly passionate and dedicated to do it as not only as hobby but to speculate it through the lens of “Infopreneurship”. There are so many worldwide bestselling authors who created millions of dollars in this endeavor. To upcoming authors like me I believe that if we try to follow the trails of top achievers in writing then it will be a source of income.
7.??How do I see myself in writing industry?
In five years I see myself as a successful and bestselling author nationally and internationally and have impacted lives of many through my talent of writing and storytelling.
