MY STORY #transition
As a professional volleyball player, I had always been obsessed with performance and pushed my body to its limits. But as time went on, I saw that the chase of immediate achievement might not be without consequence. I didn't fully comprehend how my lifestyle was affecting my health. The moment I met Donal O'Neill, things changed. Slowly though.
Actually, it was a random encounter between us. I asked to meet them at 6:00 a.m. on a Sunday so that I could be back in time for a family lunch because I was the only person in the real estate industry available to take calls during the Holiday period. Louise Knoop O'Neill (Donald's wife) called, and I said I would be there. I made the choice in the heat of the moment, but I had a feeling there was more to it than a property view. It was the beginning of a friendship between our wives as well.
Donal O'Neill was the one who first introduced me to the idea of Circadian rhythm and how it might affect our sleep and general health. Although I was initially dubious, after making the changes in my kids' bedrooms, I saw a significant improvement in their sleeping habits. My wife Anja Bajdak and I also implemented these concepts to our own sleeping patterns, and we were astonished by the improvement in our quality of life that resulted.
Donal's knowledge is like a fine South African red wine, constantly getting better. So became more and more aware of the value of a healthy lifestyle as medication as I gained more from him.
My wife Anja Bajdak suggested that we research the effects of sugar on our health and made the first push to eliminate sugar as much as possible. Donal had basically the knowledge we wanted to keep improving our diet.
We continued to collaborate with Donal after that. In the Slovenian town of Bohinjska Bistrica, we were engaged in a project to build a healthy home in collaboration with Urska Faller Davidson and Patrick Davidson and many others. The goal was to design a facility that was beneficial to both the inhabitants and the surrounding environment. Sadly, our initiative was postponed because the local authorities didn't see its potential. Donal, however, did not wish to hang around. I introduced him to a really creative architect Jaco Langenhoven Jaco Studio, and the two of them collaborated to build a small living pod prototype in Cape Town.

A different perspective on life, this adversity of rich and pure energy from nature, came to me after my trip to Cape Town. Having met Andre Oelofse thanks to Donal and Louise, and my adventures with Thai Chi and natural movement led to the creation of my first inner piece, cold water was my second big move (in the next chapter)
My first meeting with Andrej Pe?jak Andrej Pe?jak Metron In?titut was at the Bled Strategic Forum while working on a property project. It felt a connection between Andrej and Donal could lead to something genuinely fantastic right away since I felt there was something special about him. At that time, turning a Delorean into an electric vehicle appeared possible. The car was brought in by Donal from California, and the long-run adventure had started.
Together, Donal's knowledge, Andrej's inventiveness and his strong wife Jasna Pe?jak, and my love of meaningful relationships allowed us to produce something genuinely original and remarkable.
Our collaboration showed me the power of connecting with like-minded individuals and pursuing a shared vision. It was a journey of discovery and we might go to Back to the Future.
