My Story - My Logo

As all Indians celebrate the Teacher's Day (September 5th) today, I would like to present my logo as an ode to all my teachers. When I say teachers, the term includes my son, my wife, my parents and my mentors, who have invested their time and energy on me.

Special Mention - Mohamed Shakeeb Ahamed Mueez Rahman Prabhu Karunanidhi Franceen Gonzales . Thanks for being you, the people who I can look up to.

The Story

Growing up I thought 'Lijo' is not the best of the names. It doesn't have any specific meaning other than being the combination of first two alphabets of my mother's and father's name. However as soon as the thought of branding myself came to my mind, I recognized how lucky I am, and made my logo with a combination of 'Li' and 'joy'.

Li?- You would have probably figured that my logo resembles to an element in the periodic table. The element is Lithium, and its properties describe me the best.

• Great initiator of polymerization - I greatly treasure the essence of teamwork and have seen delighting results when I trusted the team and they were empowered. When you achieve more than you envision with the help of a team, it becomes the optimal reward.
• Lightest of the solid elements - I have always been an inexpensive resource and have tried to deliver great value for money. (I am funny and sarcastic at times)
• Only alkali metal that does not form the anion (negative ion) - Negativity doesn't help, it takes you away from a prosperous future. At times in my career, I have paused and looked around and have noted that talent is not a scarcity, but sustaining result is. I think it is more important to be less negative than to be more positive, the nature teaches us that positive and negative are not absolute opposites. ??
• Removes impurities of other metals and gasses - I have been a great advocate of competency mapping. People have different skills, and the efficient utility of these skills increases or decreases with time, competency mapping has always helped me help other resources to eventually help me to be a better version of myself.

Joy?

'Jo' as per Scottish National Dictionary means A sweetheart, a lover; gen. male.

One is a sweetheart when he spreads 'joy'.

Tagline

I thought Add Value would be a good tagline, Thanks to my friend Matthew Spurgeon who said 'Instead of Add value use Create Value. Adding value is one thing but being able to also create value is more in line with you Lijo' and I got my tagline. I placed it where the 'mass' of respective elements in periodic table is commonly shown.

Number 3

The number '3' represents the best date of my life as its the day I became a dad. Being a dad taught me that it is not only about being smart, but growth happens when you care, are patient and enjoy the entire course/cycle of development.

If you have read this far, then it is my time to be a teacher. My suggestion is 'Don't trade your inventive, instinctive and intuitive thoughts to save time or ease your work, while the world is crazy about AI'.
