My Story of continuous improvement

I believe in making myself a better professional every day. This spurs me to keep dealing with new things I ought to learn and regions I ought to improve. When I joined 3Pillar, It was a new world for me. I had never worked for a software development company in the past but in the education, services, and ITES sector. I am sure, many of my colleagues might have doubted if I would do a fair job of leading the talent function of a global IT company. Honestly, I never had this doubt but I was cautious. 

I will complete 4 years in 3Pillar in July. In these four years, I have seen an elevation in my role from Talent Leader in India to a Global Leader in L&D to the DCL (Delivery Center Lead). In each role, I learned many things. I remember, when I was offered the new role of Global L&D Leader that I accepted, I reached out to the L & D Head of an IT company in India and spent time in understanding the role and the expectations and here we are today, with a global L&D Team, working on learning and development initiatives to support the business. 

The excursion of being a business leader is additionally loaded with high points and low points. Every day comes with a new challenge and opportunity which brings a lot of learning in itself. I have learned how to see things from our stakeholder perspective-Employee, Client and Shareholders, how to take unpopular decisions but good for business and people, how to think about the company first, and many more.

The learning will never stop and I will keep working on my #ContinuousImprovement and live the values
