I was 12 years old.

I had an iPod Touch and a Sony Camcorder.

With those, I launched my YouTube channel: ??????????????.

I reviewed mobile apps and produced technology tutorials.

Several years later…

I’d managed to amass 100’s of thousands of subscribers and turned AppFind into one of ?????????????? ?????? ???????????? ???????????????? on the platform.

This was when it all kicked off…

I started getting approached by app developers, looking for me to promote their apps on my channel.

The penny dropped…

I didn’t just have a YouTube channel…

?? ?????? ?? ????????????????.

I started promoting apps on my channel and by the time I was in Freshman year in college, AppFind was pulling in 120k/year.

So where did AdOutreach come from?

One particular developer had asked me to promote their app on my channel and subsequently received thousands of downloads…

They were impressed and wanted to explore more avenues.

I suggested running the video I made as an ad and they reluctantly gave me 500 dollars to give it a shot.

One week later: I had generated 11k downloads with that 500 dollars.

The company was so over the moon about the results that they offered me a 6-figure salary with stock options and asked me to drop out of college and move to Silicon Valley.

But I knew I was onto something even bigger. So I turned them down.

And I launched AppOutreach, which later became AdOutreach.

AppOutreach promoted apps using targeting video ads.

And I used my extensive network of app developers to land dozens of clients.

Not long after, I attended a HubSpot Inbound Conference during my Sophomore year.

And who do you think I ran into at this event?

A booth promoting ????????????????????????.

This was when I discovered that instead of promoting just apps, I could market businesses with higher ticket deals.

With the help of a few consultants I hired from that event, seed money I took from AppFind and a scrappy team of other UMas students…

???????????????????? ?????? ????????.

Several years later, AdOutreach has become an 8-figure business.

Why am I sharing all this with you?

When my original business AppFind hit 500k subscribers, I’ve been thinking a lot about how it all started for me.

And to show you that success in anything doesn’t happen overnight.

It takes years and years of showing up every single day.

I may only be 23 and may look like I’ve achieved a lot in a short amount of time…

But it took 11+ years to get here.
