My Statement Regarding Trump's Victory

“Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” - Theodore Roosevelt

Last night was one of the toughest and most disappointing experiences of my life. Hillary left it all on the field and did so fighting for what she believed would make America, and the world, a better place.

I too can say with confidence that I left it all on the field in working tirelessly for "work worth doing" -- attempting to elect a visionary leader. Yet, as we experienced following the heartbreaking 2000 election where Vice President Gore lost by a mere 537 votes, life goes on, and despite our leadership and party preference, it is important that we continue working hard to ensuring a better future for all Americans.

I have said it many times, but it is difficult to articulate how incredibly grateful I am for my family, friends, and colleagues who have supported my endeavors and who have shared this journey with me. I will never forget your support.

And to the many friends I met along the way, let this not be the last endeavor we embark upon together. Let us learn from this experience and carry these lessons forward.

With much appreciation,

Dan

I feel the same way. It is work that was worth doing and will always be worth doing.
