My Soap Box Moment!

I've never gotten political with anyone or used my social media as a soap box. I wanted to share my feelings and thoughts.

Here I go.

Point Number 1:

I can understand that we need a change. I would like to see our United States become "One" again. We are great and I mean greatly divided, greatly disillusioned, greatly disenchanted and greatly disturbed.

Point Number 2:

I can say that illegal aliens are illegal regardless of what country they come from...Hear me, I am not without sympathy for those that flee their countries for safety or a better way of life. However, what part of "Illegal" do you not understand. There are ways to become a resident alien that we can use to help those that want to be part of our country.

Point Number 3:

Rodney King said it well, "Can't we all just get along?" Why are we singling out certain a certain demographic of people. We all bleed red blood. I have seen all demographic serve our country. I did not understand their respective culture until I was introduced to them and even lost the fear of their sterotypical profile because we served in the military together to protect "Our" United States of America. Race nor religion mattered. All that mattered was that we were in place to protect the rights of the citizens of the United States.

I took it myself here it is:

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

SO WHY ARE WE LETTING ONE OF THE CANDIDATES DIVIDE US WHEN WE SHOULD BE ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT ELECTS A PRESIDENT THAT WILL SERVE AT OUR PLEASURE???

Point Number 4:

I see some of the presidential candidates and am ashamed that they are being so self-centered and self-serving. I thought we as voters elected our candidates to serve us while in office. 

Point Number 5:

POLITICALLY CORRECT? SINCE WHEN DO WE HAVE TO BE A JERK AND RUDE AND BERATE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES! I, TOO, AM TIRED OF FOREIGN COUNTRY'S UNAPPRECIATIVE ATTITUDES WHEN WE FLEX OUR MUSCLES.  ONLY WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT WILL THEY ALIGN THEMSELVES WITH US AS A COUNTRY!

HOWEVER, THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULDN'T  BE GENTLEMEN/WOMEN BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT SOMEONE STANDING UP TO MAKE THEIR OPINION HEARD.  

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN: THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULDN'T  BE GENTLEMEN/WOMEN BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT SOMEONE STANDING UP TO MAKE THEIR OPINION HEARD.  

I can't imagine what it will be like when we have the next president in office. I pray that God gives us the wisdom to discern what is best for us a nation and that he protect us from harm and evil. I ask that he bless this Nation and our families with peace and prosperity!

I look at our money, both coins and bills and am ever so grateful that each has printed, "In God We Trust" only because it serves as a reminder that we all need to start trusting in God again!
