My Small Art Business: Bold Beautiful Redemption! (Live Shows!)

A commission request prompted me to share this.

My small Art Business was born about 4 years ago.?I had a catastrophic injury to my right wrist & had surgery to secure it with a steel plate, & a bunch of screws.?It hurts daily and needs maintenance.? To rehab it, I’ve had to work it work it… WORK IT!

Artists working during the pandemic, had limited opportunities. Quarantine, & raising costs of living have hampered many creative souls, who've hopefully diversified their value streams.

I Added at 3 different channels of sales for my work, some are pasted below, if you like anything.

I do get to see great live acts, and laugh with many different peeps, my fav!

Dawes, & Susto were the only the only shows for more than 2 years!!!!

I’ve lost count of how many total pictures I have done now, but it’s near 100.?A dear friend, & former client asked me today more about my art, so I explained… as a teenager, I had asthma, so I was still by need.? As an adult, I had an injury, & a mother, with Post-Polio Syndrome, in a hospital bed in my home.?As I sit with her after work, I create with her, while we watch amazing shows like Breaking Bad, & Better Call Saul.?I have a Breaking Bad Portrait in process, but pencils take some time.?

After my surgery, I was pressed, compelled to heal.?I completed a roughed in “Phoenix Rise” and lit a fire. I still have nerve damage, & 3 degrees of deflection in my wrist, but I press on. *(You can too!)

I mostly show at CodFish Hollow Barnstomers, but I’ve had some nice runs at galleries as well. I've tried to stay lean & mean, & packed for pop ups, so I produce on panels, & paper more than Large Canvas's.

The last show we had I set up in 4 different spots, as I was heavy loaded to fill in empty spots. The walls or spaces I'd say were Love, Life, Marvel, & DC, from what I had.
