My SEO Tech Stack as a SaaS SEO Specialist - Some might surprise you

Some of you asked. So here it is:

My current SEO tech stack.

Disclaimer: Yes, I work for some of these brands, but I won't recommend something to my fellow SEO friends if I didn't like it or found it useful in some way. I know too many of you personally... also "put your money where your mouth is", am I right?

Working for a software company that owns SEO tools obviously has its advantages. I have many tools at my disposal. If you have a limited budget, however, I recommend one at the bottom of the list.

As always, great SEO specialists understand their craft and know how to do SEO without the aid of tools. It's only meant to help you work smarter, faster and to get a quick overview of your SEO performance.

1. Crawling and indexing issues:

2. Keyword Research:

3. Rank Tracking & Share of Voice Measurement:

4. Day-to-day SEO management:

For quick alerts on tech issues, backup keyword tracking and basically for all my day-to-day quick diagnostics and finds

5. Competitor Analysis:

  • Ahrefs
  • Manual checks and tests

6. Competitor monitoring:

  • Seobility (I can see what they are going after and which pages)

7. On-page optimization:

Me, myself and I. I don't believe in using tools to tell you where to add keywords, mark up content or place internal links.

8. Honorable mentions:

Google Sheets, Seominion, Keywords Everywhere

Limited budget or can only pick one tool?

Seobility.net

It will work for most websites and it has a bunch of free tools that you can actually use to help you with your SEO campaign.?

Tools that save me the most time:

Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Seobility with Google Sheets.

Great breakdown of your SEO tech stack! Using tools like Screaming Frog and Ahrefs really does streamline the process. On a related note, integrating HiFiveStar for review management can also boost your SEO efforts by enhancing brand reputation. Have you encountered any specific challenges when combining these tools with your overall strategy?

Awesome, my stack is very similar! I use mostly GSC, Ahrefs, Sheets, and Surfer SEO, but excited to learn more about Screaming Frog, Keyword.com, and Seobility.
