This is my Secret...

?We all have secrets, some we keep to ourselves others we share with our family and friends, sadly these sometimes get blasted into the grapevine and dreams and lives get shattered.

I have my own Secrets, some I will take them straight to my grave, these Secrets I have not shared them with anybody, and they are mine and mine alone. I also hold on to some special Secrets that were shared with me by people who trusted me enough to share them. These friends shared some of their innermost thoughts, problems and even acts that they wouldn’t share with anybody else, they trusted me and I gave them my word that I would keep their Secret. Even though some of these friends have already passed away, a Secret is a Secret – no NDA needed - my word is my bond, this means that my promise to keep a secret is forever. The only Secrets I would not consider keeping would be those that involved something highly illegal, deadly or extremely life changing and I would say straight in the persons face what I thought, what I would do in their place and what I was going to do with it… and I would do it.

Now let me share a Secret……  in fact I am not going to share just one Secret, I am going to share 15 Secrets, these are the Secrets that make my life better and make me a better person:

1.  Be grateful for what you have.

2.  Enjoy every day like it’s your last.

3.  Worry less, care more.

4.  Always be kind.

5.  Care about others.

6.  Be proactive in helping others.

7.  Be an example for all those around you.

8.  Listen more talk less.

9.  Love more.

10.  Learn to let go

11.  Be a Forgiver.

12.  Be humble.

13.  Let go of anger.

14.  Learn to apologize.

15.  Know how to keep a secret… secret.
