Edinburgh Open Research Conference?(29 May 2024):
I had the incredible opportunity to attend the?Edinburgh Open Research Conference?as part of my?RESPIRE Fellowship. I had the honour of presenting a lightning talk on an?Open-Source Hardware initiative?to enhance MRI accessibility in India’s low-resource settings. UoE’s Impact Festival (30 May 2024):
Session:?Attended “Strengthening Global Partnership” at the Nucleus Building.
Highlights:?RESPIRE colleagues Hani (Malaysia), Nazim (Bangladesh), and Diksha Singh (India) discussed the impact of sustained collaborations through NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Respiratory Health (RESPIRE) Project.
Bristol Visit (31 May 2024):
Met with Cara Kendal, Lizzie Green and virtually with Felix Ritchie who are from the energetic DRAGoN Team ; from whom I had earlier completed the Data Governance course.
Met with the Pen-Yuan Hsing in Bristol and Brianna Johns in London the esteemed members of GOSH Community [Gathering for Open Science Hardware (openhardware.science)]

The University of Oxford Visit (3 Jun 2024):
Met with the ISARIC Team?and learned more about e-CRF and protocols on infectious disease outbreaks.
A dissemination Workshop held virtually (30 Jul 2024)
Delegates from premier public health and research institutions PCI India , John Snow India (JSIPL) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) embraced the workshop.
Amrita Misra, Gopal Krishna Soni and Harpreet Singh shared their invaluable experience and insights during the Panel Discussion:?“RESPIRE Webinar: Best practices in data management in health research in India” followed by a Q&A session.
This fellowship will be within my lasting memories and new connections. A big thank you to my mentors Simon Smith , Kerry Miller , Ruth McQuillan and Anand Kawade
along with the Digital Research Data Support team , the team at the KEM Hospital Research Centre Pune
