My Relationship With Stress
We're one week out from MOps-Apalooza.
It's our second annual conference and we've got over 400 people registered. The best part is I don't feel stressed about it at all : )
In fact, I feel more confident than ever! Granted it was our first one, but this is night and day compared to last year. I have also evolved significantly as an individual in that time and have a completely different perspective on life. Shortly after that event, the idea for the Manifest a Million Challenge was seeded and it's almost been a full year since then. A full year of cultivating my mind, body, and spirit.
There are several loose ends that need to be tied up before I fly out on Monday but I know and trust it will all get done. Everything is on track and will end up going according to plan or better! (I love my new mantra!)
I have so much more control over myself and my life. I can just make shit happen the way I'd like it to and even when I can't, that's okay too. I choose the way I perceive my life. I choose the way I get to feel about it and that is everything. That is the experience and precisely what seeds more of it - being present in the moment; experiencing life in all its glory, both good and bad.
My relationship with stress
I used to be stressed all the time for no reason at all. Everything always works out for me so I don't know what I'd get so worried about. It took this challenge and the ridiculous amount of journaling I do to see clearly just how often I was stressed. To find the root of that stress (turns out it was me) and eradicate it from my life. Hi, I'm the new Dan : )
I used to get stressed about missing goals or unanswered inboxes and other trivial things. And now I can say with confidence that we're gonna have an amazing MOps-Apalooza next week. So many incredible things are going to come out of this event and everything associated with it. I am excited and ready for them all!
I've been busting my ass and accomplished a lot this weekend. Not to mention the last several weeks! It rarely feels like work when you're making and playing games, but I accomplished some really awesome things this weekend and I need a break before this final sprint to the finish line. So here's to an awesome night and an incredible week ahead - for you and me both <3
