Today I want to talk about the importance of working with a knowledgeable Realtor in support of your Real Estate transactions.

Depending on if you are selling or buying, a real estate transaction has different priorities.

If you are on the selling side, you simply want to get as much money as possible in the shortest period of time out of your property. In order to achieve those goals, the right price is the most important aspect.

With a very low price you will have your property sold in a very short period of time, but you will not have gotten the most money for your property.

An overpriced home will stay on the market much longer than the average and over time you have to continue to lower the price, which will not give you the most money either.

If you are on the buying side, obviously your goals are different. You want to get your dream property for the least amount of money. But there is another important aspect to consider while you are buying a new home. Most of us don’t know how long we will live in a particular property, so it is very important that you buy a property which is likely to increase its value over time. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to go and buy the cheapest, acceptable property and then 5 years later to lose money in a resale situation.

Of course, nobody can predict the future, but you can see how property values developed during the most recent period of time.

A knowledgeable Realtor will be able to produce all the data and has the knowledge to help you to achieve your Real Estate goals in many ways.
