My QHF Marathon Challenge to help orphans unable to help themselves - please share this and support me.

My charity challenge for 2018 - Del Singh's QHF Marathon Challenge. I will be running a 1/4, 1/2 & 1 Full Marathon in 2018 for HEAL Charity (Health & Education for All) - www.healcharity.org. HEAL is a charity giving orphan children in India hope when there is none. I am looking to raise ￡5,000 to give orphaned children the opportunities we want for our own children and which we had as children, and I hope all my family, friends, colleagues and indeed people who don't know me personally will support my endeavours and help the children.

I have set myself a marathon challenge which will see me travelling from the south coast of England to the highlands of Scotland to fund raise for HEAL by running in;

? Brighton 10K (Quarter Marathon – 6.5 Miles) in April

? Loch Ness Marathon (Full Marathon – 26 Miles) in September

? Peterborough Gt Eastern Run (Half Marathon – 13 Miles) in October

Let me just add I am not a seasoned athlete in fact I only ran my first half marathon, my greatest ever distance as a novice runner in last years Great Eastern Run in Peterborough. I did this to push myself physically and raise money for charity after losing 10 stone (140lbs /65Kg) since 2014. I am also no spring chicken at the tender age of 55 so I know this latest challenge will push me to the absolute limit both physically and mentally.

I need to make it clear that I am funding all my runs including travel out of my own pocket its costing me around ￡1,000 to do this challenge, so every pound donated by you will go to HEAL and not to me. Also I chose HEAL as it is a charity run by volunteers so 100% of money raised by me will go to improve the lives of orphans and not on charity executive salaries.
