This is my profession

This is my profession

I am a registered nurse. I worked very hard to be a nurse. After years of experience and more education I decided to open my own nursing practice.

I was challenged by my peers that I couldn't possibly open my own practice but I did. Based on having a license and the ability to practice as a nurse I knew that a business was possible. Not to do all the things I did as a nurse in a hospital environment but to take my experience and expertise of clinical issues and knowledge on how to navigate a complex system I brought that experience to the patients and families who I knew needed an expert. Nothing like that was around. No one was providing this kind of service and it's still difficult to find anyone that does exactly what we do.

Crisis intervention, coordination of care, transition of care, community resources, home care it's all here. With experts that I've been able to bring in to help and proud of what we've accomplished in a short 9 years of practice.

It's not a hobby it's a profession. I want to make it clear. We are unique in what we provide and the services we have. A profession like none other with the best people joining me. I'm very grateful to have a great profession.
