My perception of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

So one of my friends, Stuti Gupta texted me outta nowhere that I should read this book and this book should be on the first position in my priority list. And she even mentioned that AI recommends it on the first number. She also said That book needs you... And you need that book. And I was like what is so special about this book so I added that book to the list and after finishing The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari, I asked my other friend in college Satvik Jain to exchange our books so I borrowed his book and I started reading this a while ago. As of now, I completed part 1 of the book and till now it is just the build-up. I'm hoping that this will be worth the hype so hoping for the best.

Well now I'm in the middle of part two of The Alchemist and I felt I should stop focusing on book recommendations even from my close friends like Stuti. I feel I should only read books about the subjects which I want to learn or the ones which interest me. Well, I think Alchemist would be a wonderful book for Stuti but for me, the significance of that book isn't much. I will complete the book soon and let's see if my perception changes.?

Fuck I left the book on the last bench of my classroom today, I hope it will be there tomorrow as it was borrowed from satvik jain. How can I leave it like this? FUCK! Well on the next day when I reached the class I quickly rushed to the last bench where I was sitting and hurrah the book was there. I felt relaxed and I took the book with me and kept it in my bag and started reading again and satvik didn't know about all this ??(relax emoji ) .

Well, I feel it's overhyped that what works for them doesn't guarantee that works for you as well. Everyone is different on their own. I admit completely that The Alchemist isn't made for me after all.? It can be a good fit for a person who lacks vision and who is not working towards its treasure. I know it already and I'm working in the right way.?
