My parents
In many cases, we tend to take our parents for granted as they age and become more independent as we age. There are several potential factors that contribute to this dynamic as I look back.
Firstly, we become so accustomed to our parents' presence that we overlook the sacrifices and dedication that they have shown in raising us. Additionally, we may have expectations of our parents' unwavering support and love, leading us to overlook the efforts that our parents tend to make throughout their entire life.
Busy lifestyles and cultural norms that emphasize the availability of parents can also contribute to this dynamic. Regardless of the reason, it is essential to recognize the importance of parents and their role in our lives, and it is never too late to express gratitude for their love and efforts. Their emotional, mental and physical support throughout our lifetime.
I try to visit my parent every opportunity I get and make the time. One day, I will look back at this article and weep.
What has become the most valuable at my age... TIME!!
Time is an irreplaceable and invaluable resource that we all possess. The value of time is often taken for granted, but it plays a critical role in our personal and professional lives. In this article, we will explore why time is so valuable and discuss some strategies for making the most of this precious resource.
Firstly, time is finite. No matter how much money, power, or influence we may have, we cannot buy or create more time. Each day consists of only 24 hours, and once that time has passed, it is gone forever. This limited availability makes time a valuable commodity that must be managed and utilized wisely.
Secondly, time is a critical factor in achieving success. Many of our goals and aspirations require significant investments of time. Whether it is building a career, nurturing relationships, or pursuing personal growth, these endeavors require dedicated time and effort. When we use our time effectively, we increase our chances of achieving success and realizing our dreams.

Thirdly, time is a finite resource that must be shared among competing demands. We often juggle multiple responsibilities, including work, family, and personal interests, each of which requires dedicated time and attention. The challenge is to balance these competing demands effectively to avoid becoming overwhelmed and burned out.
Finally, time is an essential element of personal well-being. When we use our time effectively, we can prioritize self-care and activities that bring us joy and fulfillment. Spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies and interests, or simply relaxing and taking time to recharge can contribute significantly to our overall happiness and well-being.
To make the most of our time, it is essential to adopt strategies that help us manage this finite resource effectively. These strategies can include prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and establishing routines. Effective time management also requires setting boundaries and learning to say no when necessary to avoid overcommitting.
But MAKING time for what matters most has been the most important throughout my life. Nobody has time, we make time.
Make the time to visit your parents, your brothers and sisters, your family. At the end of your last day, your last breathe, it'll be your family that is by your bedside. Not your job, your wealth, your friends or co-workers, customers, etc.
I learned. You can learn. We all learn. I'm just glad to still have the opportunity to spend time with my parents, to have private conversations and express my feelings.
