My Order for Survey Data Analysis

Because forgetting orders always create extra trouble, here is my refined list:

Clean data, choose sample size

>clean data with reverse coded in R

SPSS > Harman one factor to test CMB, <50% (<45% looks good), determine sample size and variables to use

Measurement Model while also Structural Model - test/determine control variables

>AMOS make measurement model in AMOS with the constructs in my Hypotheses, delete low items (>0.6. if items less than 3 items, we can keep 0.50). Check model fitness (CFI >0.9, RMSEA < 0.05)

>AMOS: add CMB circle to measurement model. Check model fitness. determine which sample size, control variables, variance constraints

>SPSS one factor to test CMB, <50% (<45% looks good)

Structural Model

>AMOS: delete CMB, impute value from measurement model (output .txt to avoid error)

> SPSS: import .txt, untick leaving only "separate by tabs", check variable names correct

>SPSS: correlation matrix

>SPSS: times moderators

>use R to run PROCESS to check manipulation and test hypotheses, determine which control variables

>AMOS: structural model (one with all parallel mediations, another with all mediations and moderations)

>AMOS: CMB corrected structural model. Make sure model fitness

>note down all final variables and framework, draft measurement model table and structural model result table
