Dear Sajeeb Wazed, I have decided to write this letter on your FB comment section so that your followers and intelligence community can see what I am about to say or mean. As I have watched lots of Youtube video clips, I am speechless. Foremost essential to inform you that "The RAB." was discussed in NYC for a specific reason: to create a "Special Independent Law enforcement Institution" to bypass the corrupt police department and existing judicial procedures to eliminate criminalistic culture and restore law and order in the country. And also to prevent a military takeover in the future on the "Pretext of Law and Order restoration." The "RAB" should have been recruited from LT. Colonel similar or above ranking from the Army, Navy, and Air-Force by giving them a magistrate power to execute a judicial procedure just like court-martial to deliver "Justice" within 30 days with a two-year contract. Those who perform well or outstanding performance will extend their agreement to another one or two years and receive awards for the achievement. The difference between" Court-Martial" and RAB court procedure is that in the Court-Martial, only tried military personnel, but RAB court procedure will be tried only civilian index criminals. No other litigations.
However, I think RAB ultimately failed to deliver what was expected from them. As a matter of fact, you can run the country another hundred years if you are focus-oriented. Let me give you a brief idea about Bangladesh. On December 30, 1906, Muslim League was created to politically engage Muslims in British politics to politically create a Muslim country. After the 1793 Permanent Settlement act of East India Company, all the Zamindari Certificate was issued to the Hindu upper-caste that made systematical Muslim slavery. Poor Muslims were lynched, torture, killed. Their name was changed. Masjid -Islamic Education was suspended. They were forced to eat "Panta Bhat" As you know, the Hindu Upper caste strongly believes Muslim in Bengal converted to Islam from the untouchable caste. Before 1906, I can guarantee you that 99% of East Bengali did not know "Allah.". after the formation of the Muslim League, the village to village started Waj Mahfil to educate Muslims about Islam. And Muslim landowners began building Qawami Madrassa village to town; this tradition is mushrooming. After the 1950 Land reform act, some people acted Hindu lands and forced them to leave the country. They were taking land begun from that day till this days. After the Zamindari system was abolished in 1950, village to town, the formers Zamindars Latial Bhahini created a new culture, the "goons." The goons are thugs and criminals. They use political banners to protect themselves from the legal problems that are about it. They are not politically loyal to any party or group. Their main objective is to accumulate wealth and show power, nothing more than that. I know them pretty well because my father saved the nation three times in critical times.
Between 1947-58, Pakistan was in political, ideological gridlock., my father convinced Muslim League leaders to accept the coup and endorse President Ayub Khan to stabilize the country and restore law and orders. In 1971, my father was 'Peace Committee Standing Committee Chairman." Technically my father held the war on December 14, 1971. My father's early morning Telegraphed to Peace Committee Presidents and Secretaries of 64 thousand villages, 5 thousand Unions, 64 Mohukima, 16 Districts, and four divisions. The telegram clearly stated that "I have a great feeling, by discussing with Sha Azziz, that "by overseeing eight months war, and drunk Yaha Khan leadership, I am certain to a belief that Indian military will march into the Dhaka. If they do, there must not be any street resistance, violence, or guerrilla war tactic. We swear on the Quran to protect and secure our people's safety in order to preserve our sovereignty. We failed to defend the sovereignty but safety of the people on our hands."
From 1969-75, East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was in chronic violence, murder, rape, land invasion, bank loot, rubbery, kidnapping, extortion, smuggling, gang violence, coup counter-coup political violence, was ongoing phenomenal. The dead bodies were rotten everywhere in the cities. People were dying from starvation, gang violence, and political assassinations. People were eating soil, those who were not finding food. Of course, those days were golden times for those who become rich by accumulating wealth overnight or gaining bureaucratical positions. For civil society, that was a nightmare. The safety and security of the people were beyond imagination. On August 14, 1975, my mom was going to visit my step-sister. She noticed something seems odd. She asked the driver, what's going on?. The driver told my mother, Ma'am, "Pharoh died." From August 14, 1975, to November 7, 1975, Bangladesh was on an unknown horizon. No political expert was able to assess the situation.
On November 3, 1975, the Pro-Indian Mukti Bahini staged a coup. On November 7, the socialist Mukti Bahini group staged a counter-coup and released General Zia from house arrest. The socialist Mukti Bahini misunderstood Zia ur, Rahman. Zia Ur Rahman came from a deep-rooted traditional Muslim family, unlike most typical religious ignorant Bengali. After Zia Ur Rahman became Head of the State. My father went to MAG Osmani's house in Sylhet. My father, MAG Osmani, Colonel (Major) Rab, and Major (Captain) Farid Uddin discussed all night. MAJ Osmani, after Fazr Prayer, started calling whomever he felt trusted to stand behind Zia.
On the other hand, my father started calling all the Islamic-minded Muslim leaders and Razakars commanders to stand behind Zia. As my father was "Peace Committee Standing Committee Chairman," he knew the reliable commanders. Between 1976-78, my father convinced a faction of Muslim Leaguers, Nizami Islami, former Pakistan Democratic League, many other former Pakistan political parties to support Ziur Rahman Sake of Allah to rebuild the country.
Typical Bengalis are proud of being Bengali. They love their "Panta Bhat," annually celebrate their "Panta Bhat." They love their Rabindranath. In 2004, they declared your grandfather is the greatest Bengali of all times on a BBC Poll. Masjid, Madrassa, Restaurant school, college everywhere their conversations are proud to be a "Bengali," and Razakers are their prime enemies in every social function. Bengali doesn't care about anything "except being a Bengali." And you are the Grandson of their Greatest Leader" Only you can do something to bring peace in the country. You are the last hope. I don't see any leader who can do anything in Bangladesh. It would be best if you had a strategy to avoid conflict with former pro-Pakistani or Pan-Islamic unity groups. I wish you all the best.
