My next job: Watershed

The last five years have been taxing for my community with COVID, fire season getting worse every summer, and the ongoing political crises in America. It's been frankly overwhelming, and I've noticed that I feel best when I work full time on something good for the world. As I looked for work recently I kept that in mind, and I'm pleased to say I found something I'm very excited about.

I've been thinking for years about how I can help with climate change, and what I found feels too good to be true: a promising startup where one of the key metrics is emissions prevented. Starting in January I'll be joining the engineering team at Watershed working on their carbon measurement and estimation pipeline. Corporate emissions are an important part of the puzzle?we need to solve, and Watershed helps businesses understand which decisions they can make to meaningfully lower their carbon footprint.
