My Next Chapter

It has been two years since Doctor On Demand and Grand Rounds merged to form Included Health, the first company ever to combine health care navigation and virtual care delivery.? I’m impressed by how well the team at Included Health has executed on my initial vision and rationale for bringing these two great companies together.? Stepping away from day to day responsibilities a year ago, I’ve had ample time to enjoy family and friends, pick up new hobbies and think about what’s next for me.

Today, I’m excited to share that I am now serving as President and CEO of Tivity Health.? After transitioning off the Board at Included Health, I soon realized that I wanted to lead another company.? I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for, but I was sure that I’d know it when I found it.? After months of looking at a wide range of opportunities, I determined that there were three criteria that mattered most:

• Purpose – does the company have a mission and vision of the future that is making a positive impact on the health and well being of people?
• Business – does the company operate a healthy business with strong financial metrics enabling it to play offense?
• People – is the team composed of smart, passionate and capable individuals from the Board to the Executive Team to the Individual Contributors?

I'm thrilled to say I found all three at Tivity Health. We help adults improve their health and quality of life through access to in-person and virtual physical activity, social connection, and mental enrichment, as well as physical medicine and integrative health services. The millions of people who use our products and services have demonstrably better health outcomes. Almost 70 million people are eligible for our solutions, which are primarily offered through health plans and employers. It's exciting to be part of this sector of healthcare, promoting healthy behaviors that can mitigate many of the chronic diseases driving costs in our system.?

I'd like to thank the partnership at Stone Point Capital, especially Darran Baird and Harrison Hunter , for the opportunity to lead this next chapter of growth. I look forward to working with my new colleagues, and our health plan and employer partners to improve the health and well-being of their members and employees.
