My Next Chapter

Earlier today, I announced that I will be leaving my position as President of the Diagnostics Business Area of Siemens Healthineers on March 31 to pursue my ambition to lead a large publicly listed company.

As I reflect on the past four years, I am proud of the tremendous progress that the global Diagnostics team has made in our multi-year transformation. I am particularly proud of the innovation engine that we have put in place and in the investments that we have made to strengthen how we bring clinical and workflow excellence to the laboratory and at the point of care. We now have one of the most robust pipelines in the industry, poised to deliver an unprecedented stream of instruments and assays to fuel our growth over the next four years.

Thanks to my colleagues around the world, this is an organization that stepped-up during the pandemic to play an important societal role when it mattered most. As I prepare for my next chapter, I leave a team invigorated with new strategies, organizational structures, and talent – working together with a renewed sense of commitment to business growth.

It has been an honor leading the Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics team on our mission to pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare for everyone, everywhere. Until March 31, I remain fully committed to that mission, my colleagues, and our customers.
