My New Project

I am working on a project for a new client. My client has been in business for 30 years but he needs a complete marketing campaign to launch his Internet presence.

In addition to building a website I interview the client about his business. I am learning how his business works and where he wants to grow. I translate our conversations into proposed content strategy, website architecture, and copy.

We work together to write the content. My client needs to name his business for the Internet, a domain name, and a logo.

This is the perfect kind of client for me. I am skilled at integrating advertising and marketing experience with full-stack web development.

I recommended using WordPress to build the website so that the client can add his own content to the website as his business grows. I am building a custom WordPress block theme that integrates HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.

While the web development is critical, we both agree that the content development work is more important and valuable.

After this project is complete I am looking for a full-time position in a company or agency. I hope to find a company that appreciates the value of a generalist skill set combining copywriting, graphic and web design.
