My new Agent AI 5wk Live Online Course

Thank you everyone who joined my #SudhaLive to build a live agent AI with NotebookLM, especially my past students who joined on Zoom and asked brilliant questions!

The need of the hour is for us to bring out our humanity and use our imagination to make AI work for us not marginalize some of us! The question to ask is not whether AI can write poetry, do you want AI to write poetry?

You asked me for an in-depth hands-on live online course to learn to build a real Agent AI for enterprise (not a dummy use case to test any tech) and in this upcoming course we'll do it live online in small cohorts of 20 people.

Who are my students?

My students are professionals, who love innovation, many working in the field of AI, some with solid product management and business experience aspiring to career pivot to AI, some lawyers, accountants, business leaders, lots of data owners trying to figure out how to create value from data.

One thing in common with all my students is that you love to create value for customers and want to build out for real business use cases and I am here to teach you just that!

What is unique about Agent AI that is different from ChatGPT or CoPilot or any intelligent chatbots (LLM chatbots)?

What the course covers?

tl:dr: I will teach Agent AI to give a solid foundation about Agents, drive fun discussions with case studies augmented with an industry speaker to get a sense of reality from industry. My speciality is to connect the dots between the business strategy and low level technology to help you build out a real business use case by the end of the course. Yashaswani will join me in teaching you Responsible Agents and Multi-agents and guide you on a capstone project to build using no-code Agent AI tools.

Week-by-Week Lesson Plan

We start on Thurs Nov 7th because of the US elections, then from the second week, live classes are on Tuesday.

Week 1 (Nov 7th Thurs) 10am to noon pt: What is Agent AI?

• Topic 1: What is Agent AI with examples
• Topic 2: What is not an Agent. Learn to differentiate an intelligent chatbot from an Agent AI

Week 2 (Nov 12 Tues): 10am to noon pt: Components of Building Agent AI

• Topic 1: Agent AI Ecosystem (this is not a landscape but a framework of what connects to what to build agents)
• Topic 2: Reflection, Tools, Memory - these are technologies and approaches needed to build any Agent AI Product,

Week 3 (Nov 19th): Capstone Project: Building Agent AI with No-Code

• Topic 1: Agent AI No-Code AI Platform Demo and use case development
• Topic 2: Learn a tool - Vertex AI, NotebookLM, Promptly (No-Code)

Students will learn to build Agents and get guidance for a capstone project to build an Agent for a real use case.

Additional Office Hours: Yashaswani will have optional office hour/Lab hour to mentor and answer questions to help the students build their Agents.

Week 4 (Dec 10th): AI Ethics: Responsible Agents

• Topic 1: What is Ethics in building Responsible Agents
• Topic 2: Privacy, Security and Bias as it related to Agents

This week we will have an industry guest speaker talk to the class about the reality of building ethical Agents. Diya Wynn of Amazon will be joining us. Some of you have met her at Business School of AI during our past Inclusive AI course in 2022.

Week 5 : (Dec 17th) Capstone Project: Step by Step approach to build Agent AI

• Topic 1: LLM and Tool selection
• Topic 2: Metric of success and Human-in-the-loop design

Final Session: (Dec 18th/Dec 19th): Student's Demo Presentation

Students will have the opportunity to present their capstone projects. They can present in public at #weeklywed on Dec 18th or in a closed room setting on Dec 19th.

No class: Thanksgiving week Nov 26th and NeurIPS AI Conference week Dec 11th.
