My need to brush up and learn some skills has taken over during this pandemic
Sahaj Oberoi
There is power in being you. ?? I work in the entertainment and football industry.
This was not something I planned on writing initially but now the time has come. Like many others my life has also been affected by the pandemic and I have not been in Dubai since January 2021. I have been in India temporarily, so far. And I have got to admit life is different. No wait, I am still adjusting. Wait a minute, STILL ADJUSTING. Acclimatizing to life in India is a never ending process as many new things happen everyday.
You know, a week is a long period in a place like India because things move very fast. There are many different things to tackle, the first thing is family expectation. An expectation where you need to have things figured out when in reality you're winging it. Oh yeah and as I am writing this, I don't even have a clue whether it will reach enough people yet. "Beta, aap kya kar rahe ho?" is the most common question people ask, and this is the point when you realize how time has passed so quickly.
Secondly the pandemic itself. We have to stay at home and stay safe while trying to figure out what to do next. This is life at the moment. Hopefully everyone is coping up with the pandemic well. And my prayers go to the people whose lives have been affected by the pandemic. Hopefully they all end up in a good place in life. Seriously in terms of that, life is crazy. It is not the "staying at home" part which is frustrating. It is the mental health issues such as loneliness and depression which are the major talking points here. The feeling of not knowing what to do next is a contributing factor to all this.
Here I am, at a stage of my life where I do not know what to do next. I hope this reaches to who ever is interested in reading this. God bless everyone.
