Hello LinkedIn community,
I hope this post finds you all in good health and high spirits. Today, I am excited to share a significant milestone in my life - my successful completion of the NCC (National Cadet Corps) B Certificate journey and the invaluable lessons I have learned along the way.
Achievement Unlocked: NCC B Certificate
I am thrilled to announce that after months of rigorous training, dedication, and perseverance, I have been awarded the prestigious NCC B Certificate. This accomplishment stands as a testament to my growth, not just as a cadet, but as an individual.
The Journey Captured: Cherished Moments
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Allow me to take you on a visual journey through some of the memorable moments I captured during my NCC expedition. From grueling drills and adventurous camps to camaraderie with fellow cadets, these pictures showcase the essence of the NCC experience.
The above are fellow cadets from SNIC(Special National Integration Camp). At first, they were just like any cadet from a different state but as days passed on, I realized that these people were not just co-cadets but my brothers and dearest friends. Each one of them possesses great talent, filled with a lot of energy and enthusiasm to learn new things. We had a great time together in the camp. Coming from different states, we explored each other's cultures, and food habits and also learned their language a little bit. There were few other cadets with whom I don't have a picture but they were a great source of knowledge and experience in their respective fields. Since I can speak Hindi, English, Telugu, Rajasthani and a little bit of Punjabi and hariyanvi, It was quite easy for me to interact with new people from other states. I had a lot of friends in a few days. Lastly, I would say there are no strangers in this world, only friends you haven't met.
The above is the picture I took during the selections for NCC at my University. At first, I was little nervous looking at the huge crowd of students appearing for the selections. But I was also determined. I gave my best during the selections. After checking my physical and medical fitness. I was finally selected. My happiness had no bounds. It felt like I'm selected for Indian Army. I know it's a big thing to compare with, but it was a similar feeling.
This was the day I was waiting for, since I joined NCC. The day when I get to wear my NCC ceremonial Kit. I could see many people looking at me and observing my uniform at my university. It was really a proud moment. There are seperate selections conducted at my University for the CONTIGENT DRILL. All eyes were on us when our contigent was moving doing the drill.
My NCC would be incomplete without this man. During my SNIC camp I got the privilege of meeting Group Commander Rishi who left an indelible impact on me. His dedication, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to the nation inspired me beyond measure. In his presence, I learned the true essence of leadership and the significance of serving a cause greater than oneself. Group Commander Rishi was a very down to earth person. He used to interact with the cadets the way no one ever does. He always motivated us by sharing his life experiences and the adventures he did. He was also a Kite Surfer. He took us to the Kakinada beach and demonstrated Kite surfing even when the climate was not much good. He was very approachable that any cadet can go meet him directly and talk to him and tell their problem which was very uncommon about a person with such a high post. Sir, If you're reading this post. I want to say a big thanks to you!

After successfully clearing my B-Certificate Examination with a good score, I could finally wear this shining leather belt. I felt even more confident after clearing the examination. Reading for examination made me aware of many things which I would have never known if were not in NCC.
PUNISHMENTS:
You are not an NCC Cadet if you have not got any punishments during your NCC journey. I received punishments too. They are important to make cadets disciplinned. If any cadet does a mistake, the rest will also take the punishment indicating the quality of Unity. We learn from our mistakes and punishments make us remember our mistakes.
Conclusion:
NCC has been a transformative journey, shaping me into the person I am today. From being a newly enrolled cadet filled with uncertainty, I have emerged as a confident and disciplined individual, ready to take on life's challenges with determination.
If you are a young individual seeking personal growth, a sense of purpose, and a chance to serve your country, I highly recommend exploring the opportunity of joining the NCC. The journey may be challenging, but the rewards are immeasurable.
Let's continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact on society.
