My Miracle Morning!

Positively impact my community by helping my clients have a great experience buying and selling homes!
I am a creature of habit and routine. I love doing the same things, eating the same foods, and participating in the same activities I love, over and over again. ???????♀? #sorrynotsorry
Over the last decade, I have developed and committed to my ideal miracle morning (if you haven’t read Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod you should). And although it may look different once Baby Neal arrives (I am almost 34 weeks pregnant while writing this), it is something I am committed to because it helps me be the best person I can be for myself and others - each and every day. We are the sum of what we spend time on, and when we commit to success producing activities (no matter if that is in our businesses or lives) we are much closer to succeeding!
Here are my six miracle morning habits that I am committed to, most of which showed up in the Above and Beyond Movement Spring Cleaning Habits Challenge from April.
1?? MOVEMENT - I move my body least 30-60 minutes every day. Most days this looks like cycling on my Peleton bike, strength training circuits with weights that I have at home, and yoga. Some days are more intense than others, but the commitment is what matters to me here. It keeps me feeling my best!
2?? MEDITATION - I am an active meditator. I connect my mind, body, and breath every morning during my daily yoga practice, even if it's just for 10-15 minutes.
3?? GRATITUDE - I love my Rachel Hollis #startodaybrand journal. Every day (M-F) I write down 5 things I am grateful for from the day before and 10 goals that I am focused on achieving now or in the future. This keeps me focused and intentional about what I want to create, which is positivity and results in alignment with my life and business goals.
4?? DIET - I try to eat healthy meals because I love dessert and I love to snack! Each morning I start with half an avocado, 2 scrambled eggs, and fruit for my clean meal and fuel to start the day.
5?? WATER - we all know drinking half our body weight in water every day is an important aspect of health and overall wellness. Personally, I try to consume 40 oz of water by breakfast and carry a water bottle with me everywhere.
6?? BUSINESS - I protect my calendar and try to schedule appointments only AFTER 10 am. This gives me time each morning to clear out my inbox, get time-sensitive tasks done, and set the rest of my day up for success.
While not all habits and routines work for everyone it is important to find ones that work for us individually so that we can be the best versions of ourselves in both business and life.
Hal Elrod says it best - “the moment we accept total responsibility for everything in our lives is the moment we claim the power to change anything in our life.” ??
