My mind is like a parachute...

Frank Zappa?once said; "a mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it isn't open.” A lot of press and analyst reports focus on the small handful of OEMs and solution providers with the greatest market share. There are a lot of inkjet options out there, so we like to keep an open mind by covering all of them and providing multiple perspectives. To wrap up the year, we are kicking off a series of production inkjet shopping guides that look at inkjet options to meet differing market needs. We'll cover multiple market segments from multiple perspectives.

First off is Ralf Schlozer 's take on shopping for?entry level inkjet solutions. He provides guidance on the defining characteristics of the segment, and a 10,000 foot (3,048 meter ??) view of presses that fit in the box. Hanglory is one (actually many) to keep an eye on.

While keeping an open mind is great, Dan Adams reminds us that you also have to have focus. Dan's video this week covers "strategic concentration," which is making sure that you can actually follow up on all the markets that interest you (squirrel!)
