My marketing manifesto for 2021

I reached my targets for last year by the beginning of November. That means that we need to raise the stakes and set higher targets for 2021, right ??? This is a story….of marketing.
I want to be inspired and want to inspire. I want to work with the whole organization bringing marketing where it belongs at the centre of the organization as “we are all working in the different phases of the buying process”. I want to find better solutions – together. I do not want to market marketing all the time. I would like the results to talk on their behalf.
As Seth Godin says: “Marketing is everything and everything is marketing”. Marketing is everything from pricing to after sales and from strategy to social media. From company mission and vision to values. From brand attributes to behaviour. From thoughts to actions. From psychology to business. From buying process to a deal. It is all about marketing and affected by marketing. This is marketing and this is what I love.
As a marketer I want to be challenged, so challenge me with your ideas and comments. “We are all working in the different stages of the buying process” so let’s do this, together. I hope that during 2021 we marketers do not need to market marketing so much. To be able to survive COVID-19 we need to work together and we need marketing.
