Tell us about your journey at Linesight?

I joined Linesight in 2019 as a Cost Manager, providing pre-contract support to our New York office. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work on projects in the GCC, Singapore, Europe, Australia, and Americas, gaining exposure to diverse country standards, measurement methods, cultures and management practices. I was promoted to Senior Cost Manager in February 2023 and now lead the operations for the Global Delivery Hub (GDH) team. In my current role, I focus on ensuring we have the right resources for our projects, manage client relationships, oversee QA/QC for ongoing projects, and I’m part of process setup and other operations. ? ?

What do you love about your role??

What I love most about my role is working with people from so many different cultures. Everyone brings their own unique style and perspective —whether it’s in how they communicate or approach tasks. For example, my colleagues in Singapore work quite differently compared to those in the Americas, and I really enjoy learning from and adapting to these differences. One of the highlights of my role was visiting our Singapore office in April 2024, where I experienced these multicultural interactions first-hand!? ?

What has been your proudest moment at Linesight so far??

There have been many moments, but one that stands out is a challenging project with our Dubai team last June. The timeline was tight, but leading my team of nine, we pulled together and delivered to a high standard on time. What made me proud was the incredible support from my team and the recognition from our directors. They know they can count on us to execute well, and that trust means everything to me.?

What are your thoughts on women's representation in this industry, and do you see it changing??

When I began my journey in civil engineering, I was one of the few women in my circle to enter the construction industry—back when it wasn’t common for women to do so. Today, it’s encouraging to see how far we’ve come. Women now have more equitable leadership and progression opportunities in all areas, including construction sites. I’ve also experienced incredible support from my male colleagues, who actively champion their female counterparts and serve as allies.??

What’s your favourite thing about Linesight???

What I appreciate most about Linesight is the remarkable growth trajectory. It's exciting to be part of a rapidly growing team in India during this construction and data centre boom.? I feel empowered by our Country Head, Ameya Gumaste, and my manager, Sunjaay Athanki. Their team spirit and commitment to nurturing our talent day-to-day is inspiring. It really feels like we’re all in this together – we're a close-knit team!
