My Life at Linesight, Mitesh Chauhan, IT Project Manager, Europe

At Linesight, Mitesh plays a pivotal role in driving smarter, more efficient systems, leveraging his technical skills to simplify and improve the way teams work. Driven by a deep passion for digital transformation, he takes pride in guiding teams moving from manual workflows to efficient and automated solutions. Outside of work, his family provides the balance and calm that fuels his passion for problem-solving.

What do you do at Linesight?

I am part of the IT Enterprise Services team, where we ensure the seamless operation of Linesight’s global enterprise systems. Part of my role involves managing data integrations across systems - essentially the invisible backbone that keeps everything running smoothly. I lead process optimisation projects, deliver enhancements, and implement changes requested by the business, ensuring our IT systems remain efficient and aligned with business needs.

How did you get into what you do?

Before joining Linesight, I co-founded a software company where I led technical teams in developing online recruitment systems, including applicant tracking software, while managing IT projects. My years of experience, along with a strong work ethic and appreciation for diverse perspectives, laid the foundation for the work I do today.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

I love finding smarter ways to work, especially through automation. It’s incredibly satisfying to streamline manual processes, reduce errors and secure sensitive data, while building systems that make life easier for everyone. I’m also excited to be part of the Business Digital Transformation (BDx) initiative launched by our CEO, Paul Boylan. With my technical background in software and data, I’m passionate about turning raw information into insights that drive better decisions. Playing my part in this digital transformation and making a tangible impact every day is what I enjoy most.

What’s something you’re most proud of during your time at Linesight?

There are a few things that stand out, but I'd like to highlight a couple, in particular, that sparked a shift in mindset towards efficiency and innovation.

When I first joined Linesight, I often found myself navigating through spreadsheets, emails, and messages to get the information I needed. It felt like a real challenge, but it also presented an opportunity. Working closely with the team, we implemented a project management system that not only addressed the challenges but also made a meaningful impact across the company. Automating testing was another win for us as a collective, which meant less manual work and more time for the team to focus on what really matters.

The biggest win, however, has been the unwavering support from management. Every idea I pitch is met with encouragement and support. That culture of trust and continuous improvement is what keeps me motivated every day.

What drives you outside work?

For me, it’s all about spending quality time with my family. Life moves fast, and I’ve learned not to take those moments for granted. While I value professional achievements, having a strong support system at home makes everything possible. My family is my anchor - they keep me grounded, and this balance helps me stay focused and energised at work.

If you have one piece of advice for someone looking to get into your field, what would it be?

My advice is to understand your own goals and ensure they align with the company you hope to join, or the role you’re aiming for. Don’t stress over what you don’t know - focus on what you can learn. Stay curious, embrace new challenges, adopt a growth mindset, and the rest will follow.
