MY LEARNINGS FOR AN EDGY DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY
As ironic as it may sound, Digital marketing was itself marketed around the early 2000s and became popular henceforth. But, in reality, it had been around much longer. Way back in 1971.
And with my experience, I can bet it is here to stay.

1. More than anything else, customer is the best technology to know - Every philosopher must have told you to work for yourself and not for your company. But Digital Marketing has an exception here. You only work for your customers. And how?

Digital is the trend of today. And about trends, they change and they change swiftly. If you are not in sync with them be prepared to get taken over your other trendy competitors. Be quick to catch the latest trend and get an edge over others who are still figuring out the latest update.
3. Be the one thing, others are not & others cannot - Copying is plagiarism in Digital Marketing and you get penalized for it. The bottom line is, why to copy? Offer what others didn't and can't to your customers.?You will have your own niche audience!
4. Communicate with the audience, don't just talk to them - We are in the 'age of plenty'. In order to cut through the noise, listen better instead of shouting loud. And that's also the perfect recipe for building relationships. The relationships will make you secure with the commitment they bring along. Hence, communicate instead of throwing your services to your customers.
5. Beat the Social Media algorithms with the power of content - ORGANIC ISN'T DEAD, it has just grown smarter to take any bullshit. So, the question here is not about its living or dead status but how high the bar has been set!?You will not be getting grace marks anymore if you don't deserve to pass.
