My Learning goals for 2023
Hello Everyone,
First of all, let me thank you for the warm responses and feedback regarding this new newsletter, I was very skeptical, but in Linkedin analytics, I can see that I reached almost 50K people who got interested in the content I wrote. therefore, here is a big shoutout to all of you, a big THANK YOU :)
We are going to start a new year soon, which will be a better one than the current one. So I am sharing with you the goals I've put for myself in terms of learning programs for 2023. but first, a little background.
I'm a techie guy doing the shift for business, a different kind of beast that can engage from the customer introduction perspective, to presales (HLD, LLD), to hands-on, and eventually even customer success and support.
Last year, I focused more on understanding my competition. So, therefore, I did their exams and got myself certified. The reason for that was to know how they think and how they would approach our customers, and therefore, I will learn how to challenge that approach.
As I decided to move more and more to the business side (it's not the dark side, but it is a tunnel with someone at the end holding a torch), I needed to ramp up my business skills.
Here are the two top learning programs I aim to do this year. May god help me :) And yes, it's costly!
MASTERING DESIGN THINKING (By MIT)?
Design thinking is a powerful approach to new product development that begins with understanding unmet customer needs. It's a human-centered design process that approaches problem-solving with an understanding the user's needs. Design thinking encompasses concept development, applied creativity, prototyping, and experimentation. When design thinking approaches are used in business, the success rate for innovation has been seen to improve substantially.

CSP – Certified Sales Professional
Overview?- The Certified Sales Professional Program goes beyond the technicalities of making a sale and goes deep into its psychology by explaining the client's cycle. When in the purchase process, how to speak directly to clients' needs and communicate with clients in the manner they want to be shared with. This program is specially designed for sales managers to effectively and systematically manage their sales team and sales professionals who are serious about improving their sales skills and advancing their professional selling careers.

As someone who always strives for career progress, it will be valuable to me by giving me the tools to handle complex situations, tough negotiations, etc.
