My Leadership Philosophy

As Leadership Academy comes to an end we were challenged to composed a leadership philosophy that expresses our individual beliefs and principles to lead others. My leadership philosophy is, "I will lead by example, committed and accountable for my personal goals and growth, while also working to establish genuine relationships that are rooted in loyalty and collaboration. Together we will achieve unprecedented heights". My philosophy is centered around the values of integrity and relationship building. I believe that it is extremely important to hold yourself to a high standard so that you model the behavior that you ask from others. Also, I believe that it is essential to develop strong relationships because when people know you genuinely care about them as people they want to work hard for you and with you. My coach says, "you need to strive for greatness in everything you do" and I want to bring this same idea with me into my leadership style to reach goals and achieve the unthinkable.
