Will my kids be able to afford a home?

When I was 15 I had enough saved up to buy a condo. I was told I was stupid and did not understand how finances worked. If I had followed my gut, I would most likely have a dozen real estate holdings to my name today. Instead, I listened to all those around me. Today's question is how will your kids afford to buy a home. I do worry, but not much, since in every generation a new set of criteria pop up only to be replaced a few years later by something new. What the older generation needs to understand is that the rules of home ownership have shifted. Buying a first home with 4000 sq. feet may be something that is possible. Many strategies exist such as co-purchasing or renting part of the home until it is possible to live on your own. In todays market we need to stay positive and think outside the box. That is the #allankeysolution to purchasing realestae.
