My Journey to Scrum.org PSM-III

My Journey to Scrum.org PSM-III

Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master - III is arguably the toughest certification in the agile world. The fact is obvious by the ratio of PSM-I/II candidates aspiring for and passing the coveted PSM-III.

So, when I passed by PSM-III, there were many who asked for preparation tips.

Learning from other's journey

As I found the below excellently written blogs helpful, I direct the PSM-III aspirants to these. And avoid the duplicity of information :)!

But one advise!

What you think PSM-III exam will be like!
What you think PSM-III exam will be like!
What in reality PSM-III exam was for me!

Let's be honest, when was the last time you typed for 2 hours at a stretch? We take breaks in between to think, to review, or even to context switch. But during the PSM-III exam, you will have to type for 2 hours without any break! In fact, you may not even get time to raise your fingers out of keyboard, except for rare objective questions that serve as breather. So, my advise would be to start practice random typing for 1-2 hours at least 3 days before the exam. You don't wake up one sunny day and go for a long marathon. You build that stamina and strength over a time.

What Next?

The answer to this question was provided by Scrum.org itself along with the certificate.

Even with a passing score we believe there are opportunities to learn and improve; with that in mind feedback has been provided for you below.

So, after a brief rest at the Mt. Everest base camp, I am all set to climb the Mt. Everest peak now!

Best of luck for your journey toward the Scrum Mastery!

Foer PSM III, are there accomodations for those who only type with one hand. I had a stroke at 29, and my left hand is not as agile as it once was for typing.
